Daniel Séguin, M.A.
MULTIMEDIA STORYTELLER
& PHOTOGRAPHER
Born in 1976 in Ottawa, Ontario, I have spent my first 36 years engaged as an overachiever, elementary-school-teacher-turned web startup geek, a certified personal and professional coach, an undergrad-dropout-turned Masters in Human Systems Intervention graduate, a multimedia storyteller, learning space designer, and yogically-minded organizational/community development consultant.
I primarily create and capture images in the Kootenays, BC, having previously done most my work in Montreal, Quebec.
For me, photography is the string around my finger that reminds me that the world is magnificent and filled with purposeful people. Discovering and sharing their stories helps quell my thirst for beauty. Ambitiously intent on purposeful social-change, I aspire to tell stories that ignite inspired action within myself and others.
As John Sexton puts it:"I will always be an amateur photographer in the sense that an amateur is someone who does something not because they are paid but because of passion."
Will travel for a great project.
