Daniel Séguin, M.A.
PHOTOGRAPHER

Born in 1976 to two public servants in Ottawa, Ontario, I have spent my first 33 years engaged as an overachiever, an elementary-school-teacher-turned web startup geek, a certified personal and professional coach, an undergrad-dropout-turned Masters in Human Systems Intervention graduate, an only-child-turned-intentional-community admirer, a photographer, a learning space designer, and a Yogically-minded organizational/community development consultant.

I primarily create and capture images in Montreal, Quebec. For me, photography is like having a string around my finger that helps me remember that the world is beautiful and filled with purposeful people. Their stories help quell my voracious curiosity in seeking out magnificence. Ambitiously intent on purposeful social-change, I use photography to ignite inspired action within myself and others.

As John Sexton puts it:
"I will always be an amateur photographer in the sense that an amateur is someone who does something not because they are paid but because of passion."
